We’re bringing Aggie to the vet in the while for her return checkup after her eye surgery. She is healing well and as such makes a fuss each time we bring her over. It’s like she has a phobia for people in medical uniforms but then again who can blame her after the numerous visit to the vet this year.

Anyway, busy week for us this week. We need to get lots done before Christmas and then I need to get some project organized for the new year. I also want to try to get healthier next year so planning to eat more fruits and vegetables… and I was thrilled when I found out my other favorite fruit, Persimmon is in season. Yeay!

I found this cake picture of the Rickenbacker Bass online and thought it looked so awesome. Wondering when I would ever be able to bake such a cake of my own… sigh..

Anyway, Azwaj is more of a guitar man himself though he told me he did play the bass when he was in his school band. To be honest, before I met my Azwaj, I never really bothered with the difference between the guitar or the bass. Truth be told they both look alike to me.. lol. Then of course after being married to a musician for close to 12years, I am slowly learning the history and the different musical instruments and of course the difference between the guitar and the bass! Expert I am not but at least I know now how to tell them apart

Each time we pass by this particular road, we always see this barbeque going on at one of the restaurants there. So one night, we decided to give the place a try. The restaurant was cozy and since it was close to 11pm, there was not too many people around, which suits us just fine. We were given the menu and within minutes we were ready to order.

I ordered the Tenderloin Steak and Azwaj ordered the special “Beef Burger”. We also had lasagne as side order. Much to our delight, everything was delicious. I had one of the best lasagne ever and just looking at Azwaj’s burger made me full. Just look at the size of it below and tell me what you think. I also enjoyed my steak that came with a potato salad and pita bread.

Now off to check out Gears of War 3 for myself. I just love strategy games!
